Nightfall is a free fan project. We collect as little as we can and sell nothing. This page says what is stored and why.

This website

No cookies, no analytics, no ads, no tracking, no third-party scripts or fonts - every file comes from our own server.
Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, the page or file, your browser's name) to keep the site running and safe. They are deleted after 14 days.
The age check keeps only that you passed it, in your own browser (local storage, nf_age_check - never your birth date) - it never leaves your computer.

When you play on our server, the server sees what every Source / Steam game server sees: your Steam name and Steam ID, your IP address, and what happens in the game (chat, kills, rounds). It keeps logs of that to run the server, deal with cheating or abuse, and for game statistics.
The game and its launcher ask our server for the newest version number (the update check) - that request is in the web server's logs like any visit.
Problem reports are only sent if you post them yourself. They hold the game's logs and settings (no passwords).

Steam is run by Valve: your Steam account, the Steam group and the game's Steam features follow Valve's privacy policy.

You can ask what we have about you, or ask us to delete it, through our Steam group. Server logs we no longer need are deleted.
